    Directions:

    • Pork Shoulder 12 ounces
    • Char Siu Sauce 4 tbsp
    • Oyster Sauce 1 tbsp
    • Light Soy Sauce 1/2 tbsp
    • Chinese 5 Spice Powder 1/4 tsp
    • Chili Powder 1/2 tsp
    • Garlic 6 cloves
    • Ginger 8 pieces
    • Honey 2 tsp

    • In a large bowl whisk together Char Siu sauce, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, Chinese 5 Spice powder, chili powder, garlic, ginger, and honey until well combined.

    • Place the pork shoulder in a gallon size freezer bag.

    • Pour the Char Siu sauce mixture over the pork shoulder and close the bag. (Make sure to save some for basting)

    • Massage the mixture into the pork shoulder and refridgerate for 6 hours.

    • Place the pork on a baking rack over a cooking tray and fill the bottom of the tray with water.

    • Roast in the oven for 450F for 30-45 minutes.

    • Baste every 10-15 minutes with the remaining sauce.

    • Let the pork cool, then slice it and serve with rice.
