    Ajinomoto Hondashi-Soup Stock

    Directions:

    • Thinly sliced beef 1/2 lbs
    • Yellow onion (sliced) 1/2 cup
    • Green onions 3-4 stalks
    • Ginger (minced) 1 tsp
    • Shoyu 1 tbsp
    • Shaoxing wine 1 tbsp
    • Mirin 1 tbsp
    • Sugar 1/2 tsp
    • HonDashi 1 tsp
    • Water 1/2 cup
    • Prepare the vegetables. Thinly slice the onions, green onions, and ginger then set aside.
    • Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Then add water, HonDashi powder, shaoxing wine, sugar, mirin, and soy sauce. Cover the lid and bring the sauce to boil.

    • Once the sauce is boiling, add the sliced onions, and ginger.

    • When the onion is tender, add in the thinly sliced beef and cook until no longer red.

    • Serve the meat and sauce over steamed rice. Top with extra green onion and enjoy!
