    Directions:

    • French bread 1 loaf
    • Chinese sausage 3-4 pieces
    • Butter 1 stick
    • Brown onion 1 piece
    • Shallot 3 pieces
    • Celery 4 stalks
    • Garlic 3 cloves
    • Parsley 3 tbsp
    • Thyme 1 tbsp
    • Salt 1 tsp
    • Soy sauce 1 tbsp
    • Sesame oil 2 tsp
    • Chicken stock 2 cups
    • Egg 1 piece

    • Cut the bread into cubes and toast in the oven at 350F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

    • While the bread is in the oven prepare the other ingredients. Slice the Chinese sausage, onion, shallots, celery, garlic, parsely, and thyme.

    • Heat a large pan on medium and cook down the Chinese sausage until the oil renders out. Then remove the Chinese sausage from the pan.

    • Using the same pan melt the butter and sautee the vegetables until everything has softened.

    • Season the mixture with salt, soy sauce, and sesame oil.

    • Next, add in the parsely, thyme, and Chinese sausage. Stir the mixture well and add 1 cup of chicken stock. Let mixture simmer for 5 minutes so that some of the chicken stock reduces.

    • Place the toasted bread cubes into a large bowl and add the mixture.

    • In a separate bowl mix together chicken stock and an egg, then pour over the stuffing mixture.

    • Pour the stuffing mixture into a greased baking dish and bake at 350F for 1 hour.

    • Remove from the oven and garnish with more parsley and thyme before serving, and enjoy!
