If you love Asian foods, you’re in for a treat! Join 99 Ranch Market for our Asian Food Festival from October 22nd (10/22) to November 4th (11/04) at our Northern California, Oregon and Washington State locations. Throughout the festival, we will be having spotlights and sales on many delicious foods and snacks. Be sure to stop by while supplies last!
From alcohol to bags of rice, we will be offering sale prices on many household staples. Of course, starting with everyone’s favorite section – snacks! During this festival many snacks will be on sale. If you’ve been meaning to try out something new, this is your chance. Choco Pies are a wonderful childhood favorite for many people. Most people have eaten them straight out of the packaging, but have you tried putting it in the microwave for 5 to 10 seconds? When you microwave Choco Pies, the marshmallow filling inside gets nice and gooey while the chocolate coating melts just a little bit. It’s like having s’mores without the trouble of starting a fire! Be careful with how many warm Choco Pies you eat – they can get very sweet quickly. If your Choco Pies get too sweet, wash it down with some Yakult! Not only does Yakult taste delicious, but it’s a probiotic drink so it’s good for your stomach too. If you’re still craving something sweet after your Choco Pies, check out our sale on different Calpico flavors. With flavors like mango, original, lychee, and peach, you’re sure to find something everyone likes.
Aside from sweet treats, our Asian Food Festival is the perfect time for you to restock on some sauces and seasonings. A must have for everyone is Kewpie Mayonnaise. This Japanese mayo is a little sweeter than American versions of mayo. Try adding this to your sandwiches or trying out an easy ramen hack. During this festival, Nongshim Shin Ramyun Black will be on sale as well. This is the perfect opportunity for you to try a popular ramen hack to elevate your meal. While your noodles are cooking: dump the two powder seasonings into a bowl, squeeze in some Kewpie mayo, add a clove of grated garlic, and mix in an egg. Once your noodles are done, add the noodles into the mixture, give everything a good stir, and then pour in some of the hot water from your pot. Easy and delicious, this ramen hack adds creaminess and depth to your noodles.
During this time, different varieties of MD Soybean pastes will also be on sale. These pastes are packed with umami and add wonderful flavor to anything you mix it with. Take advantage of this time to make a quick version of Mapo tofu. With House Foods’ tofu and their Chinese Mabo Tofu Sauce on sale, now is a good time to try your hand in the kitchen. All you need to do is buy some protein and tofu, follow the instructions on the sauce pack, and you’re good to go. If you want to give your Mapo tofu an extra kick of flavor, add in some MD Soybean paste!
Although cooking can be fun, we understand that preparing a meal everyday can be difficult. To help you with that, we’re happy to say that we’ll be including some frozen foods in this sale as well! Stock your freezer with some easy to prepare frozen foods, so that you’ll have a backup meal on those days where cooking from scratch is just too much effort. If you’re a dumpling lover, you’re in luck! Select varieties of Synear Soup Dumplings and Day Lee Dumplings will be on sale at this time! For those who enjoy noodles more, check out JFC Frozen Sanuki Udon for a warm and hearty meal. After all, who says quick and easy meals can’t be enjoyable?
