Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of the department.
• Direct and oversee AR management, cash management, sales recognition, and bank transactions.
• Establish a robust credit control policy and lead and facilitate its execution.
• Provide credit analysis and conduct regular analysis of the credit-control system and implement changes as needed to reduce bad debts.
• Rebate, review, and reconcile financial accounts and documents.
• Manage the reporting and analysis relating to cash and sales.
• Support customer management projects with financial analysis and process reviews.
• Manage and facilitate other income tracking and reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. Additional education can be in lieu of experience.
• 5 years of experience in accounting. Preferably in the retail, manufacturing, or logistic industry.
• Expert knowledge of GAAP is required.
• Ability to manage and supervise a large team is required.
• Advanced communication and leadership skill.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and adhere to constant and challenging deadlines.
• Proven track record of negotiating payments and handling disputed charges.
• Proficient skill in using Excel, SAP or other ERP accounting systems experience a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times
