We need – Grocery,  Produce Clerks & Receivers!

Job Duties:

Grocery Clerk – 

  1. Display – Set up and take down displays for promotional products. Ensure shelf tags are labeled correctly. Keep refrigerators neat and well-stocked, with promotional items visible to grab the attention of customers
  2. Sales Floor Maintenance – Keep aisles and common walking areas clear of boxes and debris to prevent injury
  3. Replenish – Be aware of expiration dates, place older items in the front so they are taken first
  4. Dumping – Handle expired and recalled products properly. Keep accurate logs in accordance with company policy, state food safety, and health regulations
  5. Stock – Unload and break down deliveries, and arrange stockroom properly; stock shelves with products; refill products to meet customer needs and rotate products using First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method
  6. Customer Service – Help customers locate products they are looking for
  7. PI Count – Work with other members to conduct an inventory count
  8. Cleaning – Follow company policy to clean product shelves, cooler and freezer
  9. Perform other duties as assigned 

Produce Clerk – 

  1. Display-  Ensure products have proper signage and are well-merchandised according to company standards; showcase quality and freshness to drive department sales 
  2. Replenish- Unload and break down deliveries. Refill products to meet customer needs and rotate for freshness
  3. Processing- Be responsible for cutting, trimming, and packing products into sellable sizes, weighing and labeling products to reflect accurate pricing 
  4. Dumping- Properly handle expired and recalled products. Keep accurate logs in accordance with company policy as well as state food, safety, and health regulations
  5. Stock- Be responsible for stocking, shipping and distributing products to production teams. Follow the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method. Monitor cooler/freezer temperature to ensure company standards and applicable regulations are followed
  6. Cleaning- Follow company policy to clean the walk-in cooler,  display cases, scales, maintain the cleanliness of work areas  
  1. Quality Control- Complete production process, quality control, and other techniques to optimize the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
  2. Sales Floor Maintenance- Keep aisles and common walking areas clear of boxes and debris to prevent injury
  3. Customer Service – Answer customer questions regarding seasonal product lines. Help customers locate products
  4. PI Count- Work with team members to conduct monthly inventory count.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned

Receiver –

  1. Understand and perform all receiving standard operating procedures in compliance with government regulations
  2. Carry out all work accurately, safely, and in a timely manner according to standard operating procedures for receiving, returning, exchanging, and transferring merchandise
  3. Communicate and cooperate with suppliers to ensure expedited and accurate receiving, returning, exchanging, and transferrin
  4. Organize a variety of products to the designated places and comply with receiving procedures
  5. Input, correct, and maintain product logging information
  6. Organize and submit invoices and documents to their appropriate recipients
  7. Receive and transmit documents
  8. Use machinery, equipment, and tools safely and responsibly
  9. Conduct routine inspections
  10. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of receiving area
  11. Perform other assignments assigned 


  • Some experiences are preferred
  • Having or willing to obtain a Food Handling Card
  • Good communication skills and willingness to help customers
  • Adapt to indoor, outdoor, and refrigerator temperature changes
  • Able to check and evaluate product quality and notice product description
  • Efficient, responsible, and safely use equipment
  • Require long periods of standing and lifting up to 25+ pounds objects
  • Need to work flexibly on weekends or holidays
  • Bilingual in Cantonese, Chinese, or Spanish is a plus
  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Employment Type: Part-Time

Salary: $15.00/hr and up, Depending on experiences

Shift Schedule: Prefer 9am-16pm or 10am-17pm
