Job Description:

The Financial Analyst will join our financial analysis team and work closely with other financial professionals to prepare financial statements and analysis, and provide sounded business recommendations to support operations. The Financial analyst will report directly to the FP&A Manager of 99 Ranch Market and will be a critical member on the analysis team.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Create regular sales and operations reports 
  • Data mining to identify sales, margin, expense trends, patterns, and recommend process change/ improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with other departments to execute the reports and solve business issues
  • Ability to continually make process improvement to do things more efficiently and effectively
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company’s value
  • Prepare capital expenditure supporting documents and analysis for upper management approval
  • Other ad hoc requests as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, strongly preferred in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science
  • 2+ years of overall combined accounting and finance, or data analysis experience
  • Strong technical skills including Excel and data warehouse experience
  • Strong financial modeling skills used to analyze business scenarios in a constant changing environment
  • Capable of driving change transformation and strategy execution to achieve specific business results
  • Able to utilize the latest technology to enhance the growth of an organization
  • Ability to anticipate internal or external business challenges/regulatory issues and make recommendations with supporting financial models
  • Ability to adopt and implement new ERP and data visualization software
  • Capable of directing the resolution of complex or unusual business problems, while applying advanced analytical thought and judgment
  • Demonstrates a high level of ethical behavior in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence, while exercising sensitivity to the audience
  • Business acumen and ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge in a fast-paced growing company
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Willing to accommodate flexible work schedules
