 Job Duties

  • Display – Set up and take down various displays for promotional products. Ensure shelf tags are labeled correctly. Keep refrigerators neat and well stocked, with promotional items visible to grab the attention of customers
  • Replenish – Be aware of the expiration dates, place older items in the front so they are taken first
  • Dumping –Handle expired and recalled products properly. Keep accurate logs in accordance with the policies of the company, state food safety, and health regulations
  • Stock – Unload and break down deliveries, and arrange stockroom properly; stock shelves with products; refill products to meet customer needs and rotate products using First-In First-Out (FIFO) method
  • EE Management – Assist Department Manager on day-to-day operations to increase process efficiency and participate in the hiring process to meet operational requirements 
  • Overall Department Operation – Maintain the overall appearance of the department and ensure that product levels are sustained throughout the day and stocked items are well-merchandised to showcase quality and increase sales
  • EE Training – Educate and instruct team members in proper product handling regarding storage, equipment operation, product presentation, and rotation
  • Report – Report any accidents, urgent notices, along with other violations or incidents to the Department Manager
  • Workplace maintenance – Maintain a safe working environment while complying with the internal procedures and safety code. safe working environments and comply with the internal procedure or safety code
  • Cleaning – Coordinate cleanliness and maintenance needs with the Maintenance Department
  • Loss Prevention – Responsible for controlling, safeguarding and monitoring all store assets, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented for control of assets
  • PI Count – Assist Department Manager to conduct the monthly PI count
  • Customer Service – Help customers locate products they are looking for
  • Ordering – Assist Department Manager to order products.  product ordering
  • Demo – Assist Department Manager with Demo arrangement
  • Promotion – Assist Department Manager with promotion arrangements
  • Receiving – Assist Department Manager to inspect products for quality assurance, and receive the products
  • Product Return – Follow the company policy for returned products
  • System Usage – Use company systems to track product sales and inventory
  • Acting as department manager when the manager is on leave
  • Perform other duties as for business needs

Minimum Requirement

  • Bilingual English/Chinese or English/Cantonese is preferred
  • Retail Experience is a requirement
  • Previous management experience in a retail environment preferred
  • Knowledge of general grocery product lines or similar experience
  • Available to work on weekends and holidays or rotating schedules
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, but in an efficient manner

Physical Demands

  • Standing in place for a long period of time, bending to pick up items, and kneeling regularly

  • Able to work occasionally with environment temperatures ranging from 32º to 50 ºF

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: $16.00/hr

工作職責:
